A Cab Guard ( also known as bulkhead racks or headache racks) goes across the back of the cab. Its main purpose is to protect the passengers in the cab from cargo in the bed. If you're carrying a lot of cargo and make a sudden stop, that cargo could potentially fly through the rear cab window and injure a passenger.
