Sales Associate: Orlando, FL

Responsible for Cap World Sales and Product knowledge. This position will be relating directly with customers and will be responsible for satisfying customers who have complex truck accessory needs.
Reporting Relationships:

Requirements:

Education: College Degree Preferred but High School Diploma required

Licensing/Registration/Certification: Drivers License

Experience:1-5 years retail sales experience and/or Cap World experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Must have excellent communication, problem solving skills and a professional attitude. Computer literacy a must.

Physical:

Body Positions: Primarily standing and walking in showroom, shop floor, and warehouse.

Occasionally, Sales Associate will be sitting at a desk or driving to different locations.

Body Movements: Walking throughout store, use of hands, arms, and eyes for use in the movement of products.

Body Senses: Use of vision to read product specifications and in the inspection of merchandise, installation facilities, showroom, warehouse, and the store lot. Hearing in dealing with Manager, employees and customers.

Mathematics: Ability to read and interpret financial calculations and reports.

Language: Must be able to communicate in English both written and oral. Able to prepare and read reports, interact with customers, business associates, and provide direction to subordinates.

Working Conditions: Includes, but not limited to, showroom setting, shop floor, assisting sales staff and installers in handling and displaying merchandise.

Authority and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and institute wholesale and retail sales strategies and programs.
  • Introduce new products and ideas to increase sales margins.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of sales and profit outlooks.
  •  Review weekly and monthly sales results with the Store Manager.
  • Guarantee timely reaction to customers’ presence, questions and problems.
  • Ensure that a high level of product knowledge is maintained.
  • Responsible for scheduling and documenting customer appointments for installation.
  • Calls on key truck dealers as requested by the Store Manager.
  • Knowledgeable of sales trends in the industry.
  • Aware of, and follows all safety standards and safety requirements including any required forms.
  • Timely replenishment of stock and the proper presentation (pricing, part #’s, and codes) is essential.
  • Assist with store opening/closing procedures.
  • Daily operations such as paperwork, time cards, computer generated reports, accurate ordering and inventorying of products, as well as end-of-day reconciliation and nightly deposits.

Installer: Saugus, MA | Norwood , MA | Orlando, Fl | Sarasota, FL

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truck Accessory Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a wide variety of truck accessories such as truck caps, bed liners, tonneau covers, running boards, toolboxes, hitches, lighting systems, and more. Your work will ensure that each installation is completed to the highest standard of quality and safety. A successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for working with vehicles. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Installation of Truck, SUV, and Trailer Accessories: Install a variety of aftermarket accessories including, but not limited to, truck caps, tonneau covers, bed liners, hitches, running boards, and lighting systems. 

  • Repair and Installation of Snowplows and Utility/Cargo Trailers 

  • Fork Truck operation includes unloading of products and trailers  

  • Some heavy lifting, putting products away as well as loading products on our delivery truck 

  • Maintaining a clean work environment including the shop and retail showroom 

  • Safety and Quality Standards: Ensure that all installations are completed in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications. Follow proper procedures to avoid damage to vehicles. 

  • Tools & Equipment Management: Use and maintain tools and equipment necessary for accessory installations. Ensure tools are in good working order. 

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers throughout the installation process (if necessary), addressing any concerns, and ensuring satisfaction. 

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with management, other technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of all installations. 

  • Vehicle Protection: Take necessary precautions to protect the customer’s vehicle during the installation process, ensuring no damage occurs. 

Qualifications: 

Experience: Previous experience in vehicle customization, automotive repair, or mechanical work is preferred, but will train the right candidate. Experience with truck accessories is a plus, but not a requirement 

Skills; Qualifications: 

  • Strong mechanical and technical skills 

  • Proficient with hand and power tools 

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions 

  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail are essential for a successful installation. 

  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy parts, bend, kneel, and work in various physical positions for extended periods. 

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and address issues that may arise during the installation process. 

  • Basic knowledge with 12-volt electrical installations (lighting systems, wiring, etc.)

Manager in Training- Saugus,MA | Norwood, MA

This position is a training program designed to teach you the primary skills needed to assist in store management, product sales and personnel development. A few key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing wholesale and retail sales strategies and programs
  • Introducing new products and ideas to increase sales and profit margins
  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of sales and profit outlooks
  • Reviewing weekly and monthly sales results with the Store Manager
  • Working with the Store Manager to train a safety-conscious staff
  • Conducting daily operations such as opening and closing, completing paperwork, managing time cards, running computer-generated reports, accurately ordering and maintaining product inventory
  • Utilizing preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment in order to lessen repair costs
  • Assisting in all store functions, including installations, as needed

Spray-In Bedliner Technician

Cap World, Inc. of Orlando, FL has an immediate need for a Spray-in Bedliner Technician and overall team player. The Spray Installation Technician is responsible for prepping all truck beds for spray in bed liner applications. This includes taping off the vehicle and then prepping the bed and spraying in the bed liner. This position is also required to take part in other duties when not spraying - helping with other installs & helping to keep the store & shop clean.

Essential Functions:

~ Opening and closing of spray facility every day
~ Ensuring all rules and regulations are being adhered to
~ Maintaining clean work environment
~ Maintaining all tools and equipment
~ Ensuring the right amount of chemicals and supplies are in stock for the spray facility
~ Billing out the spray shop on a daily basis
~ Email chemical counts at month end
~ Determine all warranty issues
~ Ensure all spray ins are done correctly
~ Overseeing entire schedule of spray ins
~ Responsible for transporting vehicles from other store locations
~ Visiting dealerships to increase spray sales
~ Efficient installation of additional installation products during slow time, following established retail performance standards.
~ Maintaining technical information and specifications for the proper installation of all products.
~ Maintains and recommends the proper inventory supplies for the efficient installation of all products.
~ Organizes work so all installations are completed in an efficient and timely manner, aware of Cap World retail organization structure, products, installation procedures and policies.
~ Pays close attention to detail, works to achieve error-free performance.
