The BakFlip HD is a tough-as-nails upgraded version of the BakFlip G2. It is actually comprised of the same materials as a BakFlip G2, but has integrated upgrades designed to offer more refinement and a more robust overall feel. This cover sports powder coated finishes, upgraded injection molded latch release housings, rubber tipped prod rods, a denser inner core of its panels, glow in the dark emergency release (consistent with OEM requirements), and newly designed flush mount hinges. The BakFlip F1 is the benchmark when it comes to tonneau covers. The bakFlip F1 has an impact resistant top surface made from FRP (Fiberglass reinforced polymer).
